How to achieve mirror grinding with grinding wheel

Achieving mirror polishing effect is not difficult, mainly using high-precision resin bond diamond grinding wheel.
Requirement of machines for mirror polishing:
High precision, rigidity and vibration reduction measures; the rotation precision of the resin grinding wheel spindle is higher than 1mm;
The amplitude of the grinding wheel frame relative to the table is less than 1 mm; the lateral feeding mechanism can accurately finely move;

When mirror polishing, first use the vitrified bond diamond grinding wheel with grit 60# or less, make the grinding grains on the surface of the grinding wheel form many semi-blunt micro edges of equal height, when grinding only cut off the micro chip and the surface roughness reaches Ra0.08 ~ 0.04mm.
Then use resin bond grinding wheel grit W14 ~ W5 after fine dressing, for mirror polishing under proper grinding pressure. After a certain time of friction polishing, finally reach surface roughness ≤Ra 0.01mm.
